This sweet vintage t-shirt is for the professional wrestler, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, and it features a portrait of him swinging his famous 2x4 with the exclamation, "Hoooooo!" This shirt was made in 1988, the same year that Duggan became the first ever Royal Rumble match winner. He had just signed with the World Wrestling Federation the year prior, and Duggan quickly emerged as a fan favorite.

Audiences were enthralled by his working class charm and patriotic spirit, as he would often lead the crowd in chants of "U-S-A". American patriotism was abundant in the 80s, and Duggan leaned into this by feuding with foreign heels like Boris Zhukov and King Haku. However Duggan's American patriot shtick was actually unrelated to his signature prop. The wrestler claims he simply found the 2x4 in a dressing room one evening, and brought it into the ring in the hopes that it would make him look more intimidating.
