This rad band t-shirt is for the group Fishbone and it features their classic namesake logo. The shirt celebrates the release of their album Truth and Soul, and the back features a quote that reads, "If a man has the truth, he doesn't hide it in his pocket. He hangs it out on a shingle for everybody to see". The quote comes from the film Putney Swope, a 1969 satirical comedy from Robert Downey Sr., which was the inspiration behind the album.

Truth and Soul was the band's second studio album, and it garnered significant critical acclaim. The lyrics saw the addition of left-leaning social commentary, particularly around issues like racism, fascism, nuclear war, and oppression against the lower class. The album also featured a cover of "Freddie's Dead" from the movie Super Fly. This wound up being the band's first hit on MTV, and they gained notoriety in the alternative music scene by touring with Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. Spots on the back graphic and left sleeve while wearing, and a hole and run along the bottom hem, see pics.
