This awesome tee features a coat of arms for the Youth Brigade, a southern California punk band formed in 1980, not to be confused with the east coast Youth Brigade, a band formed around the same exact time in Washington D.C. The west coast Youth Brigade was created by a trio of brothers that had moved from Toronto, Canada to LA in 1970. It was in Hollywood that Mark, Adam, and Shawn Stern cultivated a punk house dubbed "Skinhead Manor" which became a meeting place for local scene members to practice and record music.

Overtime the brothers established Better Youth Organization, also referred to as BYO, a group dedicated to the promotion of local shows and the production of punk music. BYO also became the name of the independent record label started by the group, which released albums from bands like 7 Seconds, Agression, The Unseen, Throw Rag, and Automatic 7.

During the early 80s, Youth Brigade recorded their first studio album Sound & Fury, and also saddled up in a yellow school bus with fellow California band, Social Distortion, to embark on a North American tour. From there the band continued to record and perform into the 90s and 2000s, albeit with a few hiatuses and lineup changes.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is soft and thin with a small spot on the front and a run on the back, see pics.
