This awesome vintage football tee celebrates the career of NFL player Kurt Warner and it specifically highlights his 1999 season with the St. Louis Rams. The Rams were the first NFL team to give Warner a spot on the roster, although he had been signed by the Green Bay Packers back in 1994. The Packers released Warner before the start of the regular season and he wound up playing for the Arena Football League team the Iowa Barnstormers and the NFL Europe team the Amsterdam Admirals, before he became the starting quarterback for the Rams.

Warner was initially supposed to be second string, but during a pre-season game, the Ram's original starting pick, Trent Green, tore his ACL, and Warner was asked to step up to the plate. This resulted in one of the greatest seasons ever played by a quarterback in NFL history. Warner started off strong by setting a record-breaking three touchdown passes during his first three starts. He lead the Rams to their first playoff berth in ten years, which made him the NFL's pick for the 1999 league MVP. He then continued on to help the Rams secure a win in Super Bowl XXXIV against the Tennessee Titans.
