This exceptional tee is from The Who's 1979 concert at the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit, Michigan. This tee comes with the original ticket from the show, along with a patch. The Who is one of the most iconic English Rock bands of all time, along with other influential greats like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

The Who became the voice of their generation in 1964 when they started regularly playing at London's Marquee Club. The group's first major US appearance happened to be one of the most momentous hippie music festivals of all time, the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, which was followed by a performance at Woodstock the next year. For the first 14 years of the band's history they were made up of vocalist Roger Daultrey, guitarist Pete Townsend, bassist John Entwistle, and Drummer Keith Moon. However, in 1978 Keith Moon tragically died shortly, after the release of the band's eighth studio album Who Are You. The band returned to touring in 1979, the year this tee is from, with new drummer Kenney Jones.
