This awesome tee is for the band Green Day, and it is copyright 1995, which was the year the group embarked on their Insomniac Tour.  Green Day, which has primarily consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool, were one of the many California-based punk bands to emerge on the scene in the late 80s and early 90s. The band made their major label debut in 1994 with their album Dookie, and they proceeded to gain a steady following. This was helped in part by the music videos for their songs "Longview", "Basket Case", and "When I Come Around" , which were given extensive MTV airplay.

Insomniac was the band's follow up to Dookie, and the album continued to increase the band's mainstream appeal. The record was a critical and commercial success which peaked at the number two spot on the Billboard 200. The album had a notably darker lyrical tone than its predecessor, and it featured the singles "Geek Stink Breath", "Stuck with Me", and "Brain Stew/Jaded", the last of which was released as a joint single.
