This sweet double-sided concert tee is for the band R.E.M. and it celebrates their 1995 promotional tour for the album Monster. This was the group's ninth studio album, and it debuted at the top of the charts in several countries. The album was a stylistic departure from the band's two previous records, which had brought them significant commercial success. Monster was noted for having more distorted guitar tones, and simpler lyrics than its slow-paced predecessors, Out of Time and Automatic for the People.

The promotional tour for Monster was the band's first concert tour in six years, and just like the album, it was a huge commercial success. Despite this, the band was plagued with health problems while on the road, and members Bill Berry, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe all had to undergo surgery at some point during the tour. This didn't stop the band from recording new music however, as they released New Adventures in Hi-Fi in 1996.
