This amazing double-sided t-shirt features a graphic of a skateboarding skeleton to represent the Bones Brigade. This incredible vintage find is a rare keepsake from the famous 1980s skateboarding team that rode under the Powell Peralta banner. Over the years the Bones Brigade has included some of the most iconic faces in the world of professional skateboarding. This includes Ray Barbee, Steve Caballero, Alan Gelfand, Bucky Lasek, Andy MacDonald, Mike McGill, Coline KcKay, Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain, Steve Rocco, Danny Way, Steve Steadman, Perry Carravello, Jason Ellis, Brandon Novak, and possibly the most famous pro skateboarder of all time Tony Hawk.

The Powell Peralta skateboard company was first founded back in 1978 by George Powell and Stacy Peralta, and their popularity grew thanks to the skateboarding fads of the 80s. Powell had a background in engineering with a degree he earned at Stanford University. Meanwhile Peralta had been a professional skateboarder and surfer for the Zephyr Competition Team known as the Z-Boys. Powell had an interest in developing skateboards and he began baking his own urethane wheels and experimenting with new materials, such as aluminum and fiberglass, to create his own composite boards. Powell wound up partnering with Peralta after the skater served as a test rider for one of his new boards.

The Bones Brigade were famously responsible for one of the most influential skateboarding videos ever created. The Search for Animal Chin was directed by Peralta and featured the Bones Brigade performing a collection of impressive stunts amidst clips of short skits that told an overarching story about the crew searching for the mythical Won Ton "Animal" Chin, who was said to be the first ever skateboarder. The gonzo style skate video became iconic among the scene and helped inspire a whole generation of young skaters to pick up a board. There's no doubt that this shirt will bring back fond memories of watching the Bones Brigade perform tricks on the vidoe's famous back-to-back double half pipe.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are several small spots and holes, see pics.
