This beautiful vintage cardigan is made in the style of a traditional Cowichan sweater from British Columbia. This style of thick wool sweaters were first knit by the Cowichan First Nations people. Around the mid 20th century, the sweaters became common knitting projects, and patterns for them could be bought at local craft stores. Like most traditional Cowichan sweaters, this one is made from a heavy wool that's ideal for layering against the cold. It also has a shawl neck collar and it uses natural wool colors like brown, gray, and off white. The design on this cardigan depicts some majestic eagle silhouettes, and it also has a metal Clix zipper.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a spot on the back of the right sleeve when wearing, see pics.
