This cool sweatshirt remembers the Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom IV in 1995. The Ride for Freedom is an organized motorcycle ride started by the Rolling Thunder veterans organization. Rolling Thunder was founded by Vietnam vets who felt that the US government wasn't doing enough to repatriate POWs and soldiers who were missing in action. To show their civil unrest, around 2,500 veterans and supporters participated in the ride to the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington, D.C. in 1988. Since then, the event has continued annually and some Rolling Thunder chapters host smaller, localized rides, to remember veterans of all US conflicts.
