This showy tee is from the 7th annual Tinman Triathlon hosted in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1987. The event, sponsored by Penrod's, was not only one for athletes, drawing the community together for a party-like atmosphere, reflected by the graphic on this shirt.
The event was put on annually from 1980-1988, but was cancelled in 1989 due to the lack of sponsorship and decreasing participants.
Tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
