This sweet shirt was made for fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and it celebrates the baseball team's victory during the 1988 World Series. The Dodgers won the series four games to one against the heavily favored Oakland Athletics. Many people remember the series for the pinch-hit walk-off home run that was scored by Kirk Gibson in Game 1. Although Gibson had been benched due to injuries, fans delightedly watched him hit the winning homer pitched by the A's closer Dennis Eckersley.
