This awesome tee celebrates the Scottish hard rock band, Nazareth and the shirt was made in the early 80s, after the band released their tenth studio album, No Mean City. The album debuted in 1979, and it took its name from a 1935 novel written by H. Kingsley Long and Alexander McArthur. The cover for the album featured a gnarly illustration designed by Rodney Matthews, who also worked with bands like Magnum and Asia, as well as authors like Michael Moorcock. The winged skull on this tee is reminiscent of the ghoulish character pictured on the album cover.

No Mean City boosted the band's popularity and allowed them to tour with more mainstream acts like Thin Lizzy. The year that they released the record, they were also invited to play the Texxas Jam at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, where they performed with Blue Oyster Cult, Boston, Heart, TKO, and Van Halen. In 1980, the group released a follow up, Malice in Wonderland, which produced the hit singles "Holiday" and "Heart's Grown Cold".

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt comes with an original ticket stub from the concert it was purchased at, see pics.
