This particular tee was made in honor of their Hollywood location, which sadly closed in 2025. Despite its closure, many people considered Panavision Hollywood to be an iconic branch of the historic company. Panavision was started in 1954 by Robert Gottschalk and Richard Moore. They originally began offering CinemaScope accessories during the widescreen boom of the 50s, and they eventually grew into the industry leader for widescreen lenses.
