This awesome double-sided band tee is for one of the leading bands of the 1980s rockabilly revival, the Stray Cats. The band which consisted of Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker, and Slim Jim Phantom, combined the style of the 1950s Sun Records artists with the more modern sounds of 1980s punk rock.

They first emerged on the New York music scene where they played frequently at punk clubs like CBGB's and Max's Kansas City. They later moved to Europe, after they caught word of the revival of the Teddy Boy subcultural taking place in England. They released their debut self-titled album in 1983, which included three of their most iconic songs "Rock This Town", "Stray Cat Strut", and "Runaway Boys".

This shirt is from 1983 when the band put out their album Rant n' Rave with the Stray Cats. The album included a few hit tracks, such as "(She's) Sexy + 17", "I Won't Stand in Your Way", and "Look at That Cadillac". The group broke up shortly after this, with Setzer pursuing a solo career, while Rocker and Phantom formed a new trio called Phantom, Rocker, & Slick and featured former David Bowie guitarist Earl Slick.
