This amazing all over print tee celebrates the life and teachings of the iconic human rights activist Malcolm X. This shirt replicates the colorful patterns seen in traditional Kente cloth fabric from Africa, and it also includes an except from what was arguably one of Malcolm X's most famous speeches, which he delivered at the founding rally of the Organization of Afro-American Unity in 1964. The most well known quote from this speech is the repeated line, "by any means necessary", which is featured on the front of this shirt.

Malcolm X was a Muslim minister and spokesman of the Nation of Islam. He was also prominent figure in the American civil rights movement, however Malcolm X set himself apart from other civil rights leaders, such as Dr. Martin Luther King, by actually advocating for racial segregation. This made him a very controversial figure, but Malcolm X's views were backed by his passion for Black empowerment, which he felt could be better achieved through the separation of black and white Americans. Although his views on separatism did change over time, he always remained a leading advocate for Black nationalism.
