This sweet shirt reps the Las Vegas Stars, a Minor League Baseball team that used to be the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The Stars became a part of the Pacific Coast League in 1983, and they were the first professional sports team to be based in Las Vegas, since the loss of the Las Vegas Quicksilvers soccer team in 1978. The Stars found early success, earning five division titles and two league championships in their first six years. However their next division title didn't occur until after they were renamed the Las Vegas 51s in 2001.
