This stunning vintage letterman was made in the 90s, and it celebrates the historic El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. Located right along Hollywood Boulevard, the theater was first opened in 1926 and it continues to be a celebrated landmark of Tinsel Town. This jacket was made after the theater was purchased and restored by the Walt Disney Company, and it was made to help commemorate the premiere of the 1994 Disney film, The Lion King.
The body of this jacket is made from a thick wool blended material, and it has a quilted lining for extra protection against the cold. It includes two hand pockets and snap up closures. The jacket also has leather sleeves and some stylish embroidered graphics. The larger graphic on the back shows an exterior shot of the theater beneath an ethereal portrait of a lion. After Disney purchased the El Capitan in the late 80s, it became the site for the majority of their Disney Studios premieres.
