This delightful tee features one of the many humorous fat cat cartoons created by B. Kliban. Bernard "Hap" Kliban was a cartoonist who spent much of his career working for Playboy Magazine. However, the artist is arguably best remembered for his charming cat illustrations, many of which were published in a 1975 book simply titled, Cat. It was actually Playboy's cartoon editor, Michelle Urry, who encouraged Kliban to find a publisher for his numerous cat cartoons.
This shirt depicts a mad cat, with its tail wagging agitatedly. The tee was made by the popular Hawaiian t-shirt brand Crazy Shirts. This company, which was started by Frederick "Rick" Ralston, spent the 70s and 80s producing a variety of t-shirts that featured Kliban's fat cat drawings.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
