This vintage shirt is in amazing condition from the 1960s. This tee is an official Boy Scouts of American shirt that was made in honor the BSA's Golden Jubilee. Held in 1960, this edition of the National Scout Jamboree marked the Boy Scouts' 50th anniversary, and it featured the theme "For God and Country".
More than 50,000 scouts and their leaders gathered in Colorado Springs, Colorado to celebrate the occasion, and they were treated to appearances from several celebrity guests. This included western television stars Lorne Greene and Dan Blocker from the show Bonanza, as well as Gunsmoke's James Arness. Scouts also got to meet the astronaut Edward White, and James Whittaker, who would go on to become the first American to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
