This awesome iron on t-shirt was made in the 70s and features a graphic of Han Solo and Chewbacco, two of the heroes that were introduced in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977. The film was originally just called Stars Wars, and then retroactively retitled once the franchise expanded to include multiple films. A New Hope was the first film in the "Skywlker Saga" which centered around Luke Skywalker and his sister Princess Leia, played by Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher respectively.
While the duo portrayed the two main heroes, the real breakout character of the film was the dashingly charming, but rough around the edges smuggler, Han Solo. The character was portrayed by Harrison Ford, who had previously worked with the film's director George Lucas, in the movie American Graffiti. Han Solo wound up becoming one of Ford's most iconic roles, perhaps only rivaled by Indian Jones.
Fits like a modern unisex youth extra large. There is a spot on the front.
