This awesome kid's tee has an all over print design from Nintendo, and it pays tribute to Super Mario Bros. with an image of Mario shredding on a skateboard with the caption "grind time". First published in Japan in 1985, Super Mario Bros. was a video game created for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Based off the Mario Bros. arcade game, it became the first console game of the Super Mario series.

The NES version was released in North America a few years after its debut, and by 1988 the game had sold more than 4 million copies. It would later set the Guinness World Record for the best-selling video game of all time. This shirt is copyright 1991, and by that point Mario had become a cultural icon, with one 1990 study showing that more kids in North America were familiar with Mario than they were with Mickey Mouse.
