We all know the story; in 1989's version of 1985 traveling forward to 2015, Marty McFly cooks up a crazy conspiracy: using time travel for betting with Gray's Sports Almanac. He probably thought of this when he arrived in the future (1989's 2015), and found out that crazy things had become reality: flying cars, realistic 3D animation, fax machines everywhere, and the Cubs wining the world series (in a 5 game sweep...) as seen below:
Now flash forward to 2015's version of 2015, and something even stranger: the Cubs are in the playoffs and are just 8 wins away from fulfilling the prophecy! Even weirder? The Cubs are lined up against the New York Mets who haven't won a world series since the glorious glove to the ground Buckner moment in 1986 (sorry Sox fans), one year after the original Back to the Future premiered.
