Space. An endless horizon of possibility- and aliens (well, that depends on who you ask).
Aliens or not, it is nonetheless fascinating to imagine the farthest reaches of space extending endlessly.
NASA in particular has been a key player in actually attempting to uncover what’s out there, and they’ve been at it since 1958. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has done it all: Apollo, Skylab, the Space Shuttle, the ISS, and so much more.
We have a lot of vintage space- and NASA-related shirts because space was a really big deal back when NASA was making constant breakthroughs in technology even amidst the numerous tragedies they experienced.
On February 7th, 1984, Astronaut Bruce McCandless "walks" untethered in space. He is the first one to ever do so, and the moment is captured in this iconic photo:
