This cool piece of vintage sportswear is a football jersey from the brand Champion. Born from Knickerbocker Knitting Mills, Champion is a brand with a rich history that dates all the way back to 1919. Since their inception, Champion has focused their manufacturing toward making products that target the specific needs of athletes. They were the first to develop the hooded sweatshirt, and they also created a patented reverse weave garment designed to reduce shrinkage in the wash.

This jersey was made in the 50s, just before Champion introduced their stylized "C" logo. The red jersey features white stripes around the shoulders and three quarter length sleeves. It also has the number 83 printed on both the front and the back.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some holes, runs, and repairs, see pics.
