This amazing vintage jersey was made in the 50s to rep the Dictaphone company founded by Alexander Graham Bell. The Dictaphone name was first trademarked in 1907 by what was known as the Columbia Graphophone Company, the business that later evolved into Columbia Records. While Dictaphone refers to a specific manufacturer of dictation machines, the company's significant contributions to the industry eventually led to the name becoming a generic trademark.

This jersey was made by a New York based apparel company called Felco Athletic Wear. Felco was a major manufacturer of custom uniforms and sportswear during the mid 20th century, and their catalogs used to offer a wide variety of products that ranged from felt banners to sport jackets.
