This amazing vintage jacket was made all the way back in the 1950s, and it features a zipper closure, padded shoulders, and multiple embroidered patches. Judging by the patches, this jacket once belonged to an avid fishing enthusiast. It's also made from a gabardine fabric, and the material's waterproof qualities would have made it ideal for anglers.
The patches on the sleeves were made for members of the National Spin Fishing Association and the South Gate Rod & Gun Club, which used to be based out of California. Meanwhile the back is decorated with a patch for the Ocean Fish Protective Association. Founded in 1949, OFPA was created to support marine conservation efforts that affected fisheries in Southern California.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is a small hole on the sleeve and some spots throughout, see pics.
