This vintage kid's tee was made by Champion, and it features their Champion Running Man logo on the tag. This shirt dates all the way back to the 1950s, and it pays tribute to the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. West Point has been training cadets for service in the US Army as far back as 1802, making it the oldest service academy in the country. A children's shirt of this size, would have likely belonged to a relative of a West Point student, and many students from this era went on to become veterans of the Korean War. The West Point Class of 1950 graduated only two weeks before the start of the Korean War, and the majority of Army leadership during the conflict was comprised of West Point alumni.
Fits like a modern unisex youth large. There are some spots and holes, see pics.
