This patriotic looking tee is for the folk rock band America, which was actually formed in London in the early 70s. The group was created by Dewey Bunnell, Dan peek, and Gerry Beckley, who met because they were all sons of US Air Force soldiers that were stationed in London. The band signed with Warner Bros. Records shortly after graduating high school, and they released their self-titled debut album in 1971.
This shirt is copyright 1978, a year after the band released their seventh studio album, Harbor. This was the band's fifth consecutive album with producer George Martin, who was known for his extensive work with the Beatles.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
