This cool vintage tee is for the Babe Ruth World Series that was held in 1977 in Newark, Ohio. The Babe Ruth World Series was a youth baseball competition for ages 13 to 15. The tournament was organized by the Babe Ruth League and hosted at Don Edwards Park, and that year the championship went to the Gil Hodges Club from Brooklyn. Funnily enough, 1977 was also the year that Reggie Jackson, of the New York Yankees, became the first player since Babe Ruth to score three home runs in a World Series game.
