This sweet radio tee is for a Los Angeles based station known as KMET on 94.7 FM. Often referred to by the nickname "The Mighty Met", the station lasted from 1966 until 1987, and it was a pioneering force in the development of underground progressive rock radio. This shirt features an iron on decal of the KMET logo, along with a design that takes some obvious inspiration from the Rolling Stone's iconic tongue and lips logo. Many of the station's advertising graphics were created by the artist Neon Park, who worked with some notable musicians from the time period, including Frank Zappa and David Bowie.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
