This awesome vintage ringer features a graphic of Walt Disney's famous cartoon creation, Mickey Mouse. Disney conceived the character all the way back in the 1920s, and with the help of animator Ub Iwerks, Mickey made his big screen debut in 1928, in the short film Steamboat Willie. Since then the animated character has become one of the most well-known in the world. Mickey even had the honor of being the first cartoon character to receive his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
This shirt was made in the 1970s, the same decade that the Walt Disney Company opened their second amusement park complex. Disney World in Florida opened its doors in Fall of 1971, and Mickey was a prominent figure found throughout the park. His face could be seen plastered on a wide variety of merchandise, including shirts like this one.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
