This awesome tee is a souvenir from the first ever Multi Track Expo that was held in April of 1977 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This was essentially the first time that a large scale event was held to cater to the semi-professional recording industry. The exhibit featured around thirty different vendors demonstrating their latest recording technology, and exhibitors included manufacturers like AKG Acoustics and Yahama International.
Lectures and demonstrations were also given throughout the two-day event for anyone looking to learn more about the intricacies of the recording industry. Guests could see presentations on topics like magnetic tape design, microphone applications, and mixdown techniques. The event attracted over 4,000 people, and for many this was the first time they had access to manufacturers that had previously only catered to professionals.
