This vintage tee was made for a 1979 road race event held by the American Psychiatric Association. This edition of the aptly titled race, Running Psychologists, was part of a centennial celebration marking the establishment of the world's first formal psychology lab. 1979 was only the second year that the race was held, although it would go on to become an annual event, and for this year the race was held in Central Park in New York City.
