This sweet shirt commemorates the United States Bicentennial, which involved numerous events throughout the nation celebrating America's 200th anniversary. Notable festivities included a Bicentennial parade in Washington D.C. that was grand marshalled by Johnny Cash, the inaugural reenactment of the Crossing of the Delaware, an International Naval Review at the New York Harbor, and the opening of the National Air and Space Museum. This shirt features the logo that was designed specially for the occasion. It was created by Bruce N. Blackburn, who also helped create the NASA "worm" logo.
