This sweet shirt celebrates the United States Naval Academy, and it highlights their long standing rivalry with the United States Military Academy. Each year the schools honor the Armed Forces' infamous interservice rivalry with a college football game played between the Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen. The two teams first went head to head in 1890, and the game has remained an annual tradition that's gone uninterrupted since 1930.
The shirt shows a Navy Midshipmen proudly standing over a defeated Black Knight, and the graphic is accompanied by the words, "Beat Army". This tee was made in the 70s, and if you look at the font you can see that it may have been inspired by one of the biggest movies of the decade, Star Wars. George Lucas' sci-fi epic was released in 1977, and it's clear from this tee how quickly the movie made an impact.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a small hole on the left sleeve when wearing, see pics.
