This awesome jersey pays tribute to the Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 52 or VR-52, also known as the Taskmasters. This shirt dates back to the 1970s, the same decade that the Taskmasters were first established. VR-52 was a US Navy Reserve squadron and many of its personnel provided vital military support, while also maintaining their civilian careers.
VR-52 completed a variety of air logistics missions for the Navy and Marine Corps, and they were based in New Jersey at the Naval Air Station Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for several decades, before they were de-established in 2012. This blue and gold jersey features a graphic of the C-9B Skytrain II aircraft that they used to fly.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is a spot on the left sleeve when wearing, see pics.
