This awesome tee is a deadstock original from Crazy Shirts of Hawaii. The shirt has double sided graphics showcasing Fat Cat, an adorable cartoon creation from the artist B. Kliban. Kliban spent much of his professional career drawing cartoons for Playboy magazine, but he is perhaps best remembered for his charming cat illustrations, which were compiled into a 1975 book titled Cat. The book was actually made possible thanks to Kliban's editor at Playboy, Michell Urry, who put him in contact with an agent. After its publication, Kilban's Fat Cat drawings were marketed on various merchandise including mugs, calendars, and graphic tees made by Crazy Shirts. This particular tee depicts the funny feline sitting in a Hollywood director's chair.
