This awesome vintage punk tee is for the hardcore band Circle Jerks and their album Group Sex. Group Sex was the band's debut album released by Frontier Records in 1980. It contains 14 tracks, and is only 15 minutes long in duration. The band was formed by original Black Flag member Keith Morris and Redd Kross guitarist Greg Hetson. They originally were called the Bedwetters, but the drummer at the time, Lucky Lehrer, disliked the name so Morris changed it to Circle Jerks. Several songs which appeared on their first album including "Wasted", "Don't Care", "Behind the Door", and "Red Tape" were co-written by Morris and originally performed by Black Flag. When "I Don't Care" was released without crediting Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn, who composed the music, Black Flag rewrote the lyrics and released their version of the song titled "You Bet We've Got Something Personal Against You" on their Jealousy Again EP.

The album cover pictured on the front of the shirt is a stylized graphic made by Diane Zincavage based off of a photograph taken by Ed Colver at a show for Circle Jerks and Adolescents at the Marina del Rey skate park. Ed Colver was a self-taught photographer who documented the early hardcore punk scene in Southern California. Morris spied Colver in the audience at the show and asked him to take a photo of some of the crowd gathered in the bowl of the skate park. Members of both of the performing bands can be seen in the photograph, as well as members of fellow punk band, the Germs, Darby Crash and Lorna Doom.

Group Sex is considered a landmark record in the hardcore punk scene and it was included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

This shirt fits like a modern unisex adult Small. There are two runs on the front near the bottom, see pics.
