This sweet band tee is for Def Leppard, and it was made to celebrate their fourth studio album Hysteria. The album wound up being the band's best-selling record to date, and it featured their signature hit, "Pour Some Sugar on Me". The recording process for Hysteria was actually quite an ordeal however, as the album was plagued with delays. These included the dismissal of  songwriter Jim Steinman, and a serious accident involving the band's drummer, Rick Allen.

Allen lost his left arm in a car accident in 1984, when his corvette flipped off the road. Allen was determined to continue drumming despite this new handicap, and he worked diligently to master a custom drum kit, that featured electronic pedals that triggered the beats he would have normally played with his left arm. The album's success was a testament to Allen's hard work, as it peaked at the top of the Billboard 200, the summer following its release.
