This cool vintage tee comes from a former attraction featured on the Universal Studios Back Lot Tour in California. The shirt reads, "Earthquake Awareness" and has the date April 9th, 1987. This portion of the tour is referred to as Earthquake: The Big One, and the attraction was designed to simulate a large Earthquake, one that measures about 8.3 on the Richter scale. This shirt looks to have been made during the early stages of the attraction's development, as the ride wasn't actually built until 1988. The ride also inspired a similar attraction to be opened at Universal Studios Florida during the early 90s.
