This awesome shirt celebrates the comedy TV series, Get Smart from the 1960s. The show was created by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, and this tee features Don Adams, who played the titular Maxwell Smart or Agent 86. Smart was a bungling secret agent working for a secret government organization, as the series was made in response to the overwhelming popularity of the James Bond franchise. Although the show ended its run in 1970, its popularity persevered into the following decades. This shirt was made in the 80s, and during that decade Adams continued to portray Smart in a series of advertisements as well as a made-for-TV movie called Get Smart, Again!.
