This cool vintage henley promotes the classic motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson. Founded all the way back in 1903, Harley-Davidson was one of only two American motorcycle manufacturers to survive the Great Depression, and since then it has garnered an intensely loyal brand following. This shirt hails from the 80s, when Harley really began to capitalize on their retro appeal. It was during this era that the company decided to embrace the look and feel of their earlier bikes.

The back of this tee also highlights one of the many Harley-Davidson dealerships found across the US. In particular, the back graphic promotes Bartels in west Los Angeles. Bartels was a family-owned dealership that opened in 1983. While the original location was found in Culver City, the business later moved to a larger space in Marina del Ray.
