This sweet racing tee commemorates the 1984 Popular Hot Rodding Championships, a drag racing competition that used to be held in Martin, Michigan. A celebrated NHRA event throughout the 70s and early 80s, the Hot Rodding Championships were hosted annually at the US 131 Motorsports Park, and as the name suggests they were launched with the help of Popular Hot Rodding magazine. The back of this shirt promotes another NHRA race that used to take place just a few weeks after the Popular Hot Rodding Championships. The back is dedicated to the 1984 Winston World Finals that were held in Pomona, California.
