This sweet vintage sweatshirt is from the Kings Athletic Club, a popular gym that used to be located in Hanford, California. While the gym is no longer open, it's still remembered by many members of the local community. The club was situated along 13th Road before it was replaced by the College of the Sequoias Hanford Center in the 90s. However, even after the building was converted to be part of the College of the Sequoias, it was still often referred to as the old Kings Athletic Club, a testament to the club's long history and notoriety. There are records of wrestling matches held at the club that date all the way back to the 1930s, when it hosted a match between Sammy George and Canadian light heavyweight champion Herb Parks.
