This awesome tee celebrates the Los Angeles Dodgers and their victory during the 1988 World Series. Although their opponents the Oakland Athletics were favored to win, the Dodgers beat the A's four games to one, making them the only team to earn multiple World Series titles in the 80s.

The 1988 World Series is often remembered for the pinch-hit walk-off home run that was scored by Kirk Gibson during Game 1. Gibson wasn't expected to play at all thanks to severe injuries that he'd sustained during the National League Championship Series, and he'd actually been undergoing physical therapy in the Dodgers clubhouse before he was put up to bat during the bottom of the ninth inning. He managed to slam a backdoor slider into the right-field bleachers, and won the game for the Dodgers. It was an unexpected feat, that has since been regarded as one of the greatest home runs in baseball history.
