This tee commemorates the biggest international tournament in the world for soccer, or football as it's known in most countries. This awesome shirt honors the 1986 FIFA World Cup that was hosted in Mexico. Having previously hosted the 1970 competition, Mexico was the first country to ever host more than one World Cup. The tournament was originally supposed to be hosted in Colombia, but they had to back out after the competition was expanded from 16 to 24 teams.

The tournament was held in eleven different cities, with a twelve different venues. The final match was played in Mexico City at Estadio Aztec, and it saw Argentina facing off against West Germany. In the end it was Argentina that took the cup, after Jorge Burruchaga scored the winning goal with an assist from Diego Maradona.
