This white sweatshirt is from the Prince and the Revolution World Tour, also known as the Purple Rain Tour, in 1985. The tour promoted the artist and musician's film and sixth studio album, Purple Rain, released in 1984. Popular singles from the Purple Rain album include "When Doves Cry", "Let's Go Crazy", "Purple Rain", "I Would Die 4 U" and "Take Me with U". This was Prince's first tour with his new backing band, The Revolution. The tour lasted a full year with multiple shows in the same city to accommodate all of his fans and sold over 1.7 million tickets. The tour featured opening acts Apollonia 6 and Sheila E. and her band. The sweatshirt features a small graphic of two doves with the text "Prince and the Revolution World Tour 1985" on the upper left chest and raglan sleeves. The back features a large, colorful floral graphic with Prince's iconic "Love Symbol".
The tag says large, but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult medium.
