This cool tee was made for the 1986 Bay to Breakers run. This famous run was hosted by the San Francisco Examiner, and the newspaper would publish the names of the first 10,000 finishers. In 1986, the race was celebrating its 75th year, as the Bay to Breakers dates all the way back to the 1906 earthquake. This tee also marks the year that Bay to Breakers was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest footrace.
