This awesome tee celebrates one of the most infamous villains in DC Comics history, the Clown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker. First appearing in the debut issue of Batman in 1940, the Joker was originally supposed to be a one-off villain that was killed after his original appearance. Instead the Joker has become widely known as Batman's biggest arch nemesis.

This shirt is copyright 1987, the year just before two of the most iconic storylines involving the Joker were released. In 1988, the Joker solidified his place as one of DC's most depraved villains thanks to the seminal stories "A Death in the Family" and The Killing Joke. Both of these plots had a lasting impact on the Batman canon, and they involved the Joker seriously harming two core members of the Bat-Family.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is a run going down the front, see pics.
